Dropped by the lake a few days ago (August, 2006) and took some photos.

Image

The road that runs past the lake. The lake is on the west side, and the road runs across the top of the levee.

A couple of hundred yards past the entrance, on the left, is this building which houses the lake office and the restrooms. The levee road is in the background on the right side.

A nice, fairly new pavillion with restrooms is on the right side of the road from the entrance.

There are two or three piers like this, which jut out over the water. This would be a great place to sit on a mild day and fish, or just enjoy the view.

Lots of trees make the tent areas a shady place. Concrete picnic tables are a plus.

This day there was a flock of geese wandering around the lake. The truck didn't spook them, so I got the idea they might be regular residents.
